In view of the intensification and empowering the mind, body and intellectual capacities of the SC-ST cell students of this college various programmes were conducted at the College of Agricultural Engineering, Madakasira. These lectures were aimed at improvement of student’s soft skills and personality development. The classes also organized on “How to improve communication skills” this training gave moral strength and helped in acquiring communication skills and confidence to face the campus interviews and secured the job, as well as admission into PG courses through ICAR (JRF).
The organization has also arranged the coaching on improving 1. Youth employability skills such as A) Employability skills: Communication, Decision making, Problem solving, Conflict resolution B) Employability assets: Positive attitude, Lifelong learning, managing self for time, Self presentation, Personal responsibility, Motivation and confidence.
2. Entrepreneurial development 3. Personality development English- speak and write to excel in competitive exams through the well known coaching institute, Mind Map Enterprises Pvt. Ltd., Chennai. Along with coaching to boost their confidence levels, lecture on psychology, stress management and mind management arranged to combat with existing competition and chaotic life style..
These coaching’s had really useful and made the students to secure the jobs
(100% placement) and student’s secured JRF and GATE ranks.
Hence it is requested to continue or provide special grants to organize classes with specialists or experts and eminent personalities both on the subject and general studies so that students of SC-ST Cell will get benefited in securing good ranks in JRF and GATE.
